CreaX for Etsy Sellers: Ads and Landing Pages From Your Listing
Use case · Etsy sellers
CreaX for Etsy sellers is simple: paste your Etsy listing link, and in about 60–120 seconds you get UGC-style video ads, studio ad creatives and a publish-ready landing page for that product. That gives you a second way to find buyers, with your own ads on social media, instead of relying only on Etsy search. This guide shows the workflow, a worked example, which plan fits and where other tools are a better choice.

Key takeaways
- ✓Etsy listing link in, ad kit out: CreaX accepts Etsy product links (as well as Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon and other product pages) or a product image.

- ✓Use the ads to bring your own traffic from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or Pinterest, either straight to your Etsy listing or to a page you control. Add UTM tags so you can see which ad worked.
- ✓Plans start at $4.99 a month for 2,000 credits, with top-ups at $1 per 500 credits.

AudienceWho this is for: Etsy sellers
This guide is for Etsy sellers who want more sales from outside Etsy: makers of jewellery, ceramics, candles, prints, clothing, home decor and personalised gifts who already have listings that sell a little and want to push them harder on social media.
It's especially useful if you sell personalised products, run a print-on-demand shop, or sell on several marketplaces. We have separate guides on CreaX for personalised gift shops and CreaX for print-on-demand sellers, and if you also sell on Amazon, see CreaX for Amazon sellers.
Why it mattersThe problem this solves
Most Etsy shops depend on Etsy search. When search traffic drops, sales drop with it, and there's little you can do the same day. Running your own ads on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or Pinterest fixes that dependency, but it creates a new problem: you need ads.
- Video is expected on Reels and TikTok, and most makers don't have time to film and edit a new video for every product.
- Static ads need several sizes for feed, stories and Reels placements.
- Testing means variety: one ad is a guess, three or four angles is a test.
- Clicks need somewhere good to land: the listing, or a page that tells the product's story in more depth.
Etsy also runs its own Offsite Ads programme, where Etsy promotes some listings on other sites and charges a fee on resulting sales; whether you can opt out depends on your shop's sales. Etsy's Help Center article “How Etsy's Offsite Ads Work” explains the current rules. Your own ads are separate: you choose the product, the creative, the budget and the audience.

How it worksStep-by-step workflow

Pick the right listing
Paste your Etsy listing link
Review and edit
Pick your ads and videos
Decide where traffic goes
Add UTM tags and launch
A UTM tag is just a few words added to the end of a link, for example ?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=paid&utm_content=gift-video. Give each ad its own utm_content value so you can match visits to the ad that sent them, in your ad platform's reports and in any link-tracking tool you use. Keep a simple sheet with the ad, the angle and the link, and update it when you pause or change an ad.
Turn your best listing into ads today
Paste your Etsy listing link and get UGC-style videos, studio ads and a landing page in about 60–120 seconds.
ExampleWorked example
Say you sell a handmade speckled ceramic trinket dish on Etsy. It gets favourites but few sales from search. Here's a simple first test:
| Angle | Ad format | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| “A gift she'll actually use” | UGC-style video, 30 seconds, 9:16 | Etsy listing (with UTM tags) |
| “Made by hand, one at a time” | Studio ad, Luxe style, 4:5 | Etsy listing (with UTM tags) |
| “Keeps your rings in one place” | Studio ad, Classic style, 1:1 | Etsy listing (with UTM tags) |
An example test plan, not a prediction of results.
Run the three ads with the same small budget for a few days, then keep the angle that brings the most visits and sales and pause the rest. If your own photos need work first, our guide on taking product photos with your phone helps you get a clean starting image.

Etsy ad checklist
- ✓Start with listings that already get favourites or sales.
- ✓Check every ad and video against the real product: colour, size, finish.
- ✓Never promise delivery dates or personalisation options your listing doesn't offer.
- ✓Test gift angles before holidays, and everyday-use angles the rest of the year.
- ✓Use UTM tags on every ad link so you know what worked.
- ✓Keep claims honest: handmade means handmade, and no invented reviews.
Pinterest and Instagram are natural homes for handmade products. Our guides to Pinterest ads for ecommerce and Instagram Reels ads cover the setup on each platform.
Give your listings a second source of buyers
One Etsy link gives you UGC-style videos, studio ads and a landing page, ready for your own social ads.
Honest takeLimits and when to use other tools
CreaX makes ads and landing pages. It doesn't do everything an Etsy seller needs:
- Listing SEO: CreaX doesn't write or optimise Etsy titles and tags. Use Etsy's own guidance or dedicated Etsy SEO tools.
- Etsy Ads and Offsite Ads: these are managed inside Etsy. CreaX doesn't connect to your Etsy shop or change your Etsy settings.
- Running the campaigns: you launch and manage ads in Meta, TikTok or Pinterest yourself.
- Custom photoshoots: for a brand film or a detailed lifestyle shoot, a photographer or a general design tool may suit you better.
